RCB vs CSK IPL 2023: The highly-anticipated clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings is currently underway at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The home team won the toss and opt to field first. However, the decision did not go in their favour as CSK smacked 226/6 in 20 overs. Apart from that, one more interesting highlight of the match got everyone’s attention when Harshal Patel was removed from bowling in the middle of the over.
What had happened during RCB vs CSK clash
The visitor team, CSK, displayed an impressive team performance by hitting boundaries and sixes all along. Several batters stood up to the occasion and showed their wrath. After 19 overs, CSK had posted 210/5 in 19 overs and were eyeing a massive total in their inning for their third consecutive win in the season.
Harshal Patel came to bowl the last over of the innings. He gave a single on the first ball and ended up giving a no-ball on the second throw. He made a comeback as he gave just one run again but then on the next delivery, he once again gave a wide. Ultimately, after the wide, he once again bowled a no-ball and ended up with yet another beamer.
Finally, as per the rules, as he bowled the second beamer, he was ordered by the umpires to not continue as two waist-high No Balls in the same over led to the removal of the bowler. Maxwell barged in but due to the rules, the umpires couldn’t allow him to bowl. Thus, Maxwell then came to bowl the remaining four balls of the match as CSK then ended up scoring 226/6 in 20 overs.
