RCB vs DC IPL 2023: The 20th match of the Indian Premier League is currently underway between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The visitor team won the toss and opted to field first. However, after early fireworks from RCB openers, the visitors pulled a breakthrough by dismissing Faf Du Plessis. The video of that one-handed catch has now gone viral on social media.
Faf’s inning ends with a one-handed stunner
RCB had an ideal start with the game as they went on to score 33 runs in 4 overs without losing any wickets. Both the openers had started firing by then and Du Plessis also looked in good touch as he had slammed a maximum just in the last over. However, his inning was certainly short-lived as he was dismissed on a score of 22 runs in 16 balls.
Mitchell Marsh came had to come to bowl his first over in the fifth over of the innings. The pressure was building upon the bowler as he had been slammed for 9 runs in 3 balls, with a boundary coming from each of the openers. However, on the third ball, he bowled a good-length ball and sailed it towards the mid-wicket. Aman Khan, who was standing at the point, grabbed a stunning one-hander to dismiss him. He almost dropped it once but then once again grabbed it from the same hands itself. Faf walked away with disappointment as he thought it would have easily gone for a boundary.
