RCB vs DC IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore & Delhi Capitals are currently battling at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Winning the toss, RCB came to bat first and posted 181/4 in 20 overs. However, the home team had a blistering start to the game, scoring 60 runs without any loss in 5 overs. However, just in the fifth over, a heated moment occurred between Mohammed Siraj and batter Philip Salt.
Siraj and Philip Salt’s furious moment
After a high-scoring total by RCB, the home team Delhi Capitals had a striking start in the game as they reached a good score in a short span of time. By the end of the fourth over itself, they had reached a score of 41 runs. Mohammed Siraj, who is known for taking wickets in the powerplay was once again called to bowl the fifth over.
However, it didn’t go to RCB’s favour as the first three balls gave away 16 runs. Philip Salt had smacked 6,6,4 on the first three and was eyeing another big hit on fourth but the ball actually went for wide. As soon as the umpire signalled for the same, batter Philip Salt tried sledging Siraj by teasing him but Siraj couldn’t withstand it and instantly went to him and sledged in return. He also showed fingers and death stare to him. DC Skipper David Warner intervened and tried stopping but to no avail as umpires had to step in to calm the issue. Faf Du Plessis then took Siraj away and suggested him to calm down.
