RCB vs DC WPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore are currently striving hard to get the first win of the tournament. In the eleventh match today at DY Patil stadium, the RCB are clashing with Delhi Capitals. The latter won the toss and chose to bowl first, and, effectively so, they dismissed the batter and skipper Smriti Mandhana first as her string of low score continues.
Smriti Mandhana fails yet again
So far in the tournament, she had scored 80 runs in four matches. This stat does not match the stature of the player Smriti Mandhana belongs to. A lot was expected from her today also as her team continues to look for the first win of the tournament. However, bowler Shikha Pandey dismissed her when she started to appear in fine touch.
Smriti scored 8 runs off 15 balls, a 53.33 strike rate knock that included a lone boundary as well. As the balls piled up, the pressure looked certain and see tried to go big. Howver, she was caught out by Jemimah Rodrigues. She now has 88 runs in five matches with an average of just 17.50 and 35 as her highest score.
