RCB vs GG WPL 2023: In the second match of the double header on 18th March, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants are clashing at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. Both teams are at the bottom of the table and eyeing for a crucial win. In the anticipated clash, GG won the toss and opt to bat first. However, they were taken aback after Sophie Devine uprooted opener Dunkley’s stump.
Sophie Devine shows her wrath
Gujarat Giants had a good start in the game as they scored 21 runs in the first two overs. However, this start didn’t keep up for long as skipper Smriti Mandhana brought in Sophie Devine to bowl the third over of the innings. Just on the third ball, Dunkley hit Devine for a powerful boundary but just on the next ball Devine showed up her skills as well.
On the fourth ball, she bowled her out as she uprooted Dunkley’s leg stump. The batter was left in disbelief as she had been dismissed just after a good start. She scored 16 off 10 balls, hitting three boundaries in her brief knock. The wicket ended up giving Royal Challengers Bangalore a major breakthrough as they eye for a victory in the important match.
