RCB vs PBKS IPL 2023: The highly-anticipated clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings is currently underway in Mohali. The home team won the toss and opted to field first. Virat Kohli came as captain today for RCB as Faf was facing injury issues and could not field in the second innings. Thus, he came as an impact player just as a batsman, and would not come to the field. Virat scored his fifty once again, a video of one boundary is now getting immensely viral on social media.
Virat Kohli’s classy boundary
Virat managed to score 59 runs in 47 balls and laid a strong batting foundation for the team. RCB has a strong start in the game, making 59 runs within the powerplay. However, after the tenth over, a boundary did not come for the next three overs by either of the batter. The run rate was slowed down as a result of it.
Virat, then, took the charge and slammed a stunning cover drive on the last ball of the 14th over, which was being bowled by Arshdeep. Virat stepped out of the crease and lofted the shot to long-off. The boundary also completed his fifty, which was the 4th half-century for him in the season. He continues to have glorious form in the season.
