ODI World Cup 2023 Ticket process

India is slated to participate in nine matches, dispersed across various World Cup venues. Bookings for each individual game will be accessible on separate dates. The inaugural match of WC 2023 will feature a clash between last year’s finalists, England and New Zealand, taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

To prevent a chaotic rush reminiscent of the overwhelming demand witnessed during the IPL 2023 season, both BCCI and ICC have jointly opted for a staggered approach in ticket sales. In the initial phase, tickets for all non-India matches will be available for purchase starting August 25. Following that, from August 31 to September 3, fans will have the opportunity to secure tickets for India’s scheduled games.

Starting from August 15, fans are required to register via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register. This step will grant them the advantage of receiving prompt ticket updates and ensuring their attendance at the World Cup, allowing them to relish the excitement of a day of cricket. In a noteworthy change, electronic ticket facilities will not be available; instead, fans can either opt to have their tickets couriered to them or collect them in person from box office counters situated at the stadium.
