Rishabh Pant: India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant was involved in an accident on Friday morning while returning home on the Delhi-Dehradun route. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his sorrow over the incident. Since the accident was reported, prayers and well wishes have been coming in from all directions.
According to Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Ajai Singh, Pant sustained two cuts to his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe, as well as bruises on his back. His luxury car lost control and collided with a road divider before catching fire.

Taking to Twitter, PM Narendra Modi wrote, “Distressed by the accident of noted cricketer Rishabh Pant. I pray for his good health and well-being. @RishabhPant17.”

However, one must note that PM Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben passed away today in the morning. His 100-year old mother was admitted to hospital a couple of days back due to illness. Though, the treatment couln’t save her and she passed away. PM Narendra Modi, though, didn’t let his personal life affect his work as he went on for his regular chores.
Rishabh pant met with an accident in the morning
Top Indian cricketer Pant was making his way to his birthplace of Roorkee to celebrate the New Year with his family. After actively contributing to India’s 2-0 Test series victory in Bangladesh, he had just returned from the UAE, where he spent Christmas with friends.
According to reports, the cricketer passed out at 5:30 in the morning and lost control of his car.
Getting out of the flaming car was assisted by the driver and other employees of a Haryana Roadways bus that was driving by adding that the collision had left the car entirely burnt. He was later rushed to the hospital.
