Rishabh Pant: Star Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was involved in an accident while driving his automobile on NH5 earlier yesterday morning. He was rushed to the hospital with some injuries, where he is presently listed as stable.

When will Rishabh Pant return to play?

In light of the official statement the BCCI has released regarding Rishabh Pant’s recovery, it is expected that Rishabh Pant will probably miss the 2023 IPL. Additionally, Pant might end up skipping the World Cup as well. His wounds will all take roughly 6 to 8 months to heal. This means that most of his upcoming year will go while resting only. He is likely to miss the ODI World Cup as well.

Rishabh Pant to be airlifted?

Director of the Delhi & District Cricket Association Shyam Sharma stated that a team from the DDCA will be at the Max Hospital in Dehradun to monitor star Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant’s health after his tragic accident a day ago.

If necessary, the batter-wicketkeeper would be airlifted to Delhi for his plastic surgery. On Friday, Pant’s car struck a divider on the Narsan boundary of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal while he was travelling back from Delhi to Roorkee.

According to Sharma, due to the multiple injuries Pant sustained in the automobile accident, he may need to be evacuated to the national capital for additional surgery.
