Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has passed the fitness test and now he is fully ready to join the team in Australia.
The BCCI confirmed this. By the way, there was news of Rohit passing the test on Friday, but the BCCI had not given any official confirmation. Later on Saturday BCCI released a statement on Rohit’s fitness.
The BCCI wrote in a statement, “Indian team batsman Rohit Sharma has completed his rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru and he is fit.” Rohit had complained of muscle strain in IPL. He was on rehab on November 19 at NCA.
The vehicle says, ‘The NCA medical team is fully satisfied with Rohit’s physical fitness. The medical team has tested him on the parameters like batting, fielding and running between wickets and he is satisfied with his position. However, he will have to work on his strength.
