Royals scored 50 runs in just four overs
The third ball of the third over, which was bowled by Mukesh Kumar after Khaleel’s boundary-filled first over, was when the Royals’ first non-boundary run occurred. Khaleel, a left-arm pacer, promptly adjusted his lengths when Warner brought him back for the fourth over of the inning for Delhi. As a result, he only allowed 11 runs to be scored in his second over while also giving up just one boundary. In contrast, the Royals scored 50 runs in just four overs following some aggressive batting. In Guwahati, the Capitals won the toss and decided to field. However, Rajasthan showed that the choice had little real influence in the first over, leaving Delhi panting for oxygen on a steamy Guwahati day.
