RR vs SRH IPL 2023: Jos Buttler smashed over 800 runs in the last season and he has continued from where he left off. In the first-ever match of his team in IPL 2023, against SRH, he continued his form as he smashed 22 ball 54. He also smacked seven boundaries and three maximums in the inning. A highlight from the knock is now making rounds on social media.

Earlier, SRH won the toss and opted to bowl first in the game. Their decision backfired as the RR went on to score 85 runs in 6 overs i.e. Powerplay. The attack was led by both the openers as they smashed boundaries for fun to all the bowlers. In the process, Jos Buttler also smashed two back to back sixes against Washington Sundar.
The incident happened during the fourth over. Continuing with his impressive form, Jos Buttler welcomed the bowler by smashing the first ball to deep square leg. On the second ball, he went even more berserk and smashed an even longer six towards the long on. He was eventually bowled by Farooqi later with a score of 54 off just 22 balls, playing with a strike rate of 245.5.
