SA20: The SA20 competition, where most teams are owned by Indians, is run by Cricket South Africa, and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed its contracted cricketers to join it.
Due to domestic and international obligations, the PCB initially declined to grant NOCs to its players for the inaugural Emirates Cricket League and SA League. However, after the boards of Pakistan and the West Indies agreed to postpone a T20 series, the PCB changed its mind.
Originally slated for January 2023 but moved to early 2024 is the T20 series versus the West Indies. After the South African board declared that after the player’s auction was over a few weeks ago, each of the six teams can now sign an additional wildcard player, PCB changed its mind.
No Pakistani player participated in auction
No player from Pakistan was permitted to participate in the auction. In both the SA league and the Emirates league, Indians own the majority of the teams. According to the source, if there are enough takers, players can also join up for the Bangladesh Premier League.

Azam Khan and Muhammad Hasnain, two Pakistani teenagers, were approached by an ECL franchise that was not owned by Indians, but the board refused to grant them NOCs since it had made it a rule that none of its players would participate in the ECL.
Even though the bulk of the franchises are owned by the teams that compete in the Indian Premier League, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has not granted any clearance to its players to participate in the Emirates or SA competitions.
