Asian Games 2023: On August 3rd, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) unveiled a short film series titled ‘Halla Bol’ as part of the #CheerForIndia campaign. This series intends to motivate athletes heading to Hangzhou and raise awareness about the forthcoming Asian Games. Distinguished from the previous ‘Olympic Ki Asha’ film series, the Halla Bol series primarily emphasizes the remarkable sporting journeys of our esteemed athletes.
SAI to launch 12 short films
In the upcoming weeks, SAI has ambitious plans to release a total of 12 short films. This initiative aims to not only motivate athletes participating in the Asian Games 2023 but also to encourage the youth of the nation to embrace sports and pursue a career in the field. The first episode in the series was also unveiled which gave a glimpse onto the life of star Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra.
Taking to Twitter, Sports & Youth Minister Anurag Thakur wrote, “As the Indian Contingent gears up for the 19th edition of the Asian Games, don’t forget to check out the #HallaBol series by
