Sania Mirza: Star cricket player Shoaib Malik of Pakistan married actress Sana Javed on Saturday. There has been a great deal of conjecture around his divorce from Sania Mirza, his former wife, during their marriage.
Imran Mirza’s Confirmation
“Divorce is hard,” Sania Mirza cryptically stated in a post a few days ago on her Instagram stories. It appeared from the post that the divorce had just occurred. Imran Mirza, Sania’s father, did, however, affirm on Sunday that the pair has been apart for a few months.
“Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her father to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead!” he wrote on his social media post.
Record-Setting Career
Izaan, Sania and Shoaib’s kid, is five years old. After getting married in 2010, the pair lived in the United Arab Emirates. One of the best tennis players that have ever played in India, Mirza, declared her retirement last year.
Throughout her illustrious 20-year career, Sania won 43 WTA doubles titles and one singles trophy, cementing her reputation as a trailblazer for women in sports. She just completed a new chapter in her book by taking on the role of mentor for the Women’s Premier League’s Royal Challengers Bangalore team.
