Sania Mirza – Shoaib Malik: Recently, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik shared snippets of their time alone with their 4-year-old son Izhaan Mirza Malik on social media. The Pakistani cricketer and the Indian tennis player are purportedly divorcing and co-parenting their son while they live apart. According to sources close to the family, the two have already split up but haven’t made a formal announcement because of legal concerns about some co-endorsements.
Couple shared seprate photos with son
They haven’t been spotted together for some time. However, they both most recently shared different photos of themselves with their sole child. First, an Indian tennis player posted a picture of herself holding her baby son and captioned it, “My universe,” using the heart and the earth emojis.
Following Sania’s post, Shoaib shared some father-son time in a video clip that was shared on Instagram on Sunday. He wrote, “Good father son time & long drive before flying to Lanka Premier League… We had our belts on during the drive, make sure you all wear belts too…”
Sania and Shoaib’s divorce saga
One of the most well-known sports star couples on the subcontinent, involving the Indian tennis player Sania Mirza and the legendary Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, is rumoured to have split up. Last month, there were reports of issues in their over ten-year marriage. But neither has responded to the reports in any way.
The two continue to share parts of their celebrity lives while remaining active in them. However, The two are not seen together in any of the recent posts. However, Shoaib Malik was the only one to post photos from the party; Sania Mirza did not. The two did, in fact, celebrate their child’s birthday together despite the reports of a divorce.
Additionally, Shoaib Malik recently wished his wife Sania Mirza a happy birthday, but she didn’t like or comment on the message. While Malik is travelling to Sri Lanka to compete in the domestic cricket league, Sania is promoting her tennis academy idea in Delhi.
What about ‘The Mirza Malik Show’?
Additionally, the two are set to co-host a talk show called The Mirza Malik Show. After news of their divorce came to social media, a promo for the TV show was also released. Despite the rumour mill around the couple quieting down recently, neither of them has confirmed nor denied the split, leaving the speculation open-ended.
