Asia Cup 2023: On Sunday, some reports started flowing stating that Pakistan express pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi will be getting married again after the continental tournament is over.
The left arm pace bowler got married earlier in February 2023 in a closed ceremony. He married former Pakistan spinner and legend Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha Afridi. The ceremony was closed but is considered as one of the most beautiful wedding ceremonies.
Earlier on Monday, during the pre match presentation of IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 match, Ravi Shastri and Wasim Akram confirmed the news that the couple will marry each other again after the tournament.
Shaheen Afridi Remarrying
The wedding in February only involved close friends and relatives of the couple. Only few of the Pakistan teammates attended the wedding function.
However, the couple now wants a grand celebration as both of them wants to celebrate their marriage with everyone. A ceremony that will involve lots of people and friends that the couple have made.
Shaheen Afridi and Ansha Afridi are all set to re-marry each other on September 19, 2023. Two days after the finals of the Asia Cup 2023. As Mayanti Langer stated, this time Jasprit Bumrah might have to bring gift for Shaheen during the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
Asia Cup 2023 In Sights
Shaheen Shah Afridi has been on fire in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. He is the top wicket taker in the tournament and is firing on all cylinders. If he keeps his form it will be scary for everyone in the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
