MS Dhoni Taught To Me A Lot
Pathirana is the leading wicket taken in the ongoing Lanka Premier League. He stated that this has only been possible because of MS Dhoni. He further stated that the influence of the CSK skipper on his career has been amazing.
The slingy action bowler stated that Dhoni gave him lots of confidence, boosting his career. He further stated that when a player like Dhoni shows confidence in you, you can do anything at that moment.
He further stated that because of his skipper in IPL, he now knows how to balance his overs in T20. Sri Lanka international further stated that ‘Thala’ is 42 years old but is still the fittest cricketer, which is inspiring.
CSK Is More Than A Club!
Pathirana also praised the Chennai Super Kings management and how they treat players. He stated that he was a kid when he joined the IPL franchise, and no one knew him. The club trained him and taught him various things.
This is not the first time we hear good things about CSK as a club. Players like Faf Du Plessis and even rival players like Hardik Pandya have praised the club in the past over their man management.
