Wanindu Hasaranga: Sri Lanka’s prominent spin-bowling all-rounder, Wanindu Hasaranga, has decided to step away from Test cricket in order to extend his international playing journey as a specialist in limited-overs formats. With a focus on shorter formats, the 26-year-old has chosen to conclude his stint in the longest format of the sport after participating in four Test matches. During his Test career, he secured four wickets in an innings on one occasion and contributed 196 runs, which included a noteworthy half-century. This decision reflects his commitment to maximizing his impact as a player in the shorter versions of the game.
