T20 World Cup 2022: At the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 23, Team India will play Pakistan in the T20 World Cup opener. With a team brimming with talent on both the bat and the ball, India enters the competition with great expectations of overcoming a 15-year title drought and winning their second championship.
The Rohit Sharma-led team had a meeting at Government House in Melbourne with Linda Dessau AC, the Governor of Victoria, and other important dignitaries before their crucial match against Pakistan.
Since winning the first-ever championship in 2007, India’s T20 World Cup history has been marred with disappointment. In Johannesburg, India defeated Pakistan by five runs, and Irfan Pathan was the hero with three for 16.

Youngster Arshdeep Singh, age 23, will join the seasoned pacer.
