How much prize money for T20 World Cup 2022 winner?
The T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia will have a winner who will receive $1.6 million in prize money, while the runners-up will receive $0.8 million. This was previously announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The remaining eight teams that failed to advance past the Super 12 stages will receive $70,000, while the two unsuccessful semi-finalists will receive $400,000 in prize money. In the Super 12 stages, each victory is worth $40,000.

How much prize money will team India receive?
The Men in Blue of India were severely defeated by England in the semi-finals, and as a result, they will once again have no chance of winning the T20 World Cup in 2022. However, they will receive $400,000 in prize money for reaching the tournament’s semifinals.
In addition, each victory in the Super 12 stages is accompanied with a prize fund of $40,000, and India finished the competition with a record of four wins in five games. India will therefore receive a total prize money of $560,000, or roughly 4.51 crores of Indian Rupees.
Pakistan and England to clash in the finale
In the meantime, the T20 World Cup final between Pakistan and England is scheduled to take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 13th of November. It’s important to note that both teams have experienced T20 World Cup victory in previous editions. They have reached beyond expectations and need one more victory to claim the top prize.
