TATA IPL 2025 Player Auction : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a list of 574 players slated for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, scheduled for November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The pool comprises 366 Indian players and 208 overseas players, including three from associate nations. Among these, 318 are uncapped Indian players, alongside 12 uncapped overseas players.
Key Auction Details
The auction will fill 204 available slots, with 70 reserved for overseas players. The highest reserve price has been set at ₹2 crore, and 81 players have opted for this top bracket.
Marquee Players Highlight Auction Start
The event will begin with two marquee sets of players:
- Set 1: Jos Buttler, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Kagiso Rabada, Arshdeep Singh, and Mitchell Starc.
- Set 2: Yuzvendra Chahal, Liam Livingstone, David Miller, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj.
Pre-Auction Retentions
Ahead of the auction, the 10 IPL franchises retained 46 players, spending a combined ₹558.5 crore. This retention strategy sets the stage for an exciting bidding war as teams look to fill their remaining slots and strengthen their squads.
