A Throwback to 2007’s Historic Parade
The upcoming victory celebration will bring back memories of 2007 when the MS Dhoni-led team celebrated their inaugural T20 World Cup win with a similar parade in Mumbai.
Parade Schedule and Prize Distribution
The victory parade is set to start at 5:00 p.m. IST and will conclude at 7:00 p.m. Following the parade, the BCCI will host a prize distribution ceremony at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. BCCI secretary Jay Shah will present the prize money of Rs 125 crore to Rohit Sharma and his team, marking the end of India’s 17-year wait for a second T20 World Cup title.
