The experience and expertise of former players will not go waste: Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid briefed the state associations to maximize the use of the expertise of the experienced players as much as possible in the respective state teams.

The webinar was later joined by secretaries and cricket operational heads of various states.

While the discussions were primarily on the components of fitness data collection and resumption of fitness training sessions at NCA.

Dravid kept various points to troubleshoot the various problems faced by the state committee in this pandemic.

”Rahul never said that it is a mandatory thing but his suggestion to states was that we should try and use former players in their area of expertise,” a secretary of one of the state units, told PTI.

”If they can be integrated into the cricketing set-up, their experience and expertise will not go waste.”
