Former Pakistan fast bowler Umar Gul says that he will regret his failure to beat India in the 2011 World Cup semi-final in Mohali. Pakistan has never defeated India in World Cup history.

The same happened on 30 March 2011 at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali and India entered the finals by defeating Pakistan by 29 runs and then became the World Champion for the second time by defeating Sri Lanka in the finals under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

“If you talk about a cricket career, then I only and only regret that we could not beat India in the semi-finals in Mohali.”

Before that match, we played brilliantly in the tournament, but one match destroyed all our expectations.

Gul has recently retired from international cricket. Gul has taken a total of 427 international wickets for Pakistan.
