ODI World Cup 2023: The eagerly anticipated details for the ODI World Cup 2023 tickets have been released, igniting enthusiasm among fans eager to secure seats for India’s highly anticipated matches. Nonetheless, this year’s ticket booking procedure will deviate from the norm, requiring fans to pre-register on August 15 before officially purchasing tickets on August 25. In addition, the usual E-ticket alternatives won’t be available, as fans will need to either physically collect the tickets or opt for delivery via courier services.

The ticket delay was attributed to the adjustments made by BCCI and ICC in nine matches. BCCI has further disclosed a phase-wise approach to booking all the matches. Initially, BCCI had communicated that each state association was entrusted with determining prices for the World Cup tickets. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) was the first to unveil the prices for the WC tickets.

Charges for ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets and Booking process

Following the ticket booking process, fans will be presented with the choice of either having their ticket delivered via courier or picking it up from the assigned venue. Opting for the courier service will incur an additional cost of 140 rupees, limited to addresses within India. This courier option will be available for those who purchase tickets at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled match. It’s important to note that electronic tickets (e-tickets) will not be available.

The booking process for ODI World Cup 2023 tickets is set to commence on August 25th, following a phase-wise approach. Ahead of the ticket sales launch, fans are required to express their interest by registering through https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register starting from August 15. The booking sequence will adhere to the following order.

Additionally, the BCCI is entitled to 300 complimentary hospitality tickets for every game, as required. Moreover, each state is obligated to allocate 1295 tickets to the ICC for league games and 1355 tickets for fixtures involving India and the semifinals. The ticket sales for the World Cup will be jointly handled by both BookMyShow and Paytm. It’s worth noting that digital tickets will not be available for this tournament. The ticket pricing will span from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000 per ticket, contingent upon the specific venue and match in question.
