UPW vs DC WPL 2023: Harsha Bhogle, the popular Indian cricket commentator, surprised Grace Harris with a special gift during the WPL 2023 match between UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals at DY Patil Stadium Stadium in Mumbai on March 7.

Harsha Bhogle gifts Harris
Harris, who played a crucial role in helping UP Warriorz defeat Gujarat Giants in the previous game, had revealed that burgers are her favourite food. Bhogle, remembering her food preference, gifted her a burger after the match, much to Harris’s delight. The 29-year-old cricketer even joked whether she would have to settle for butter chicken instead.
Grace Harris, the Australian batter, played a vital role in helping UP Warriorz chase down 170 runs against Gujarat Giants. She remained unbeaten on 59 off 26 balls, with a staggering strike rate of 226.92, smashing three sixes and seven boundaries. Harris also formed a match-winning partnership with Sophie Ecclestone for the eighth wicket, steering UP Warriorz to a memorable victory. Later, in the match, she revealed her love for burgers.

Harris rested for today’s match
The UP Warriorz have decided to rest Grace Harris for their current match against Delhi Capitals in WPL 2023 on Tuesday. In her absence, Shabnim Ismail has been included in the playing XI as a replacement. The decision to bring in Ismail suggests that the team management is looking to add more firepower to their bowling attack to counter Delhi Capitals’ strong batting lineup.
