UPW vs DC WPL 2023: Kiran Navgire, a rising star in Indian cricket, has been causing a stir in the Women’s Premier League 2023. She is playing for UP Warriors and scored an impressive fifty in the first match against Gujarat Giants. Moreover, during the fielding against Delhi Capitals on March 7, she took an incredible catch that left everyone amazed. The video of the catch is now making rounds on social media.
Kiran Navgire leaves fans in awe
The two teams are currently battling at Divya Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Warriors captain, Alyssa Healy won the toss and elected to bowl first. Delhi’s Shafali Verma and captain Meg Lanning displayed their batting prowess while taking advantage of the powerplay and scoring runs quickly. However, Kiran Navgire made an impressive catch, disrupting their partnership, and a video of it has gone viral.
Lanning and Verma opened the innings and established a 67-run partnership in just 6.3 overs. However, Shefali’s innings ended due to an exceptional catch by Kiran Navgire. She attempted to hit a powerful shot towards fine leg on the third ball of the 7th over, but failed to make proper contact between the ball and bat. Kiran, fielding in that direction, quickly reached the ball and dived forward to take an incredible catch.
