During the match, German star Alexander Zverev complained to the referee that one of the audience members had cited “The most famous Hitler phrase” ever. The match was halted and it became a huge scene.
“The Most Hitler Phrase Ever”
The instance happened in the fourth round of the match where Zverev went to the referee and complained about the incident. “He just said the most famous Hitler phrase there is in this world. It’s unacceptable. This is unbelievable,” Zverev said to the match referee.
Umpire James Keothavong was quick to take action and responded immediately. He shouted towards the audience and demanded the answer as to who said the phrase. James further complained that they would get him out of the arena.
