Vinesh Phogat: Prominent Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat announced her retirement from the sport today, expressing profound sadness. She announced her difficult decision on her personal social media account, X (previously Twitter). This announcement comes after Vinesh was disqualified from participating in the olympic finals of the 50kg category on August 7.
