Viral IPL Video: Goofups in cricket, especially by umpires can be frustrating at times. However, once a goof-up in the Indian Premier League made everyone in splits. Indian Umpire C Shamshuddin who was under the spotlight in the match involving the hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab. Actually, umpire was asked for the ball after a break but he had no idea where it was. The game was halted and everyone started looking for ball. However, after few minutes, the ball was found in the pocket of the umpire itself.
What had happened actually?
Resuming the game after the second strategic break, Kings XI Skipper Ravi Ashwin and pacer Ankit Rajpoot could not find the ball even as AB De Villiers and Marcus Stoinis were ready to get underway. Ashwin went straight to Shamshuddin who was clueless about the situation. Everyone looked confused as the ball went missing.
The cricket match had to be paused for a while as the second umpire, Bruce Oxenford, stepped in to help, and the fourth umpire hurried onto the field with a fresh set of balls. After a few minutes, TV replays revealed that Shamshuddin had put the ball in his pocket just before the players took a break.

The incident caused a humorous moment for the players, leaving ABD in fits of laughter. However, what followed was an impressive performance from him, scoring 82 runs in just 44 balls, leading RCB to victory.
