Despite losing to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final, Kohli continued his scintillating performance from the T20 World Cup. He scored a remarkable 973 runs in the edition, including a century against Punjab at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The century and the special knock is etched in the hearts of every RCB fan.
When Kohli walked out to bat in that match, he put on a stunning display of hitting, smashing 113 runs off just 50 balls with 12 fours and eight sixes. His opening partner, Chris Gayle, also played a vital role, scoring a quick-fire 73 off just 32 balls as RCB posted an imposing total of 211 for three in their 20 overs.

In response, the visitors struggled and fell short by 82 runs despite some resistance from their batsmen. RCB’s Yuzvendra Chahal was the star with the ball, spinning a web and finishing with impressive figures of 4/25. Overall, it was a remarkable performance by Kohli and RCB, showcasing their dominance in the league that season.
