Sydney and Canberra are set to host the white ball tournament when India will tour Australia next month and may train during their quarantine period, as the New South Wales government has allowed the visiting team to train during compulsory segregation after arriving.

India set to play three T20 Internationals, three ODIs and four Test matches during the Australian tour. The first two ODIs will take place on 27 and 29 November at the Sydney Cricket Ground, after which the last ODI will be at Manuka Oval in Canberra (1 December). The first T20 will also be played in Canberra (4 December), after which the last two T20s will be played in Sydney (6 and 8 December).

“We’ve got ground availability, we’ve got the processes and we can certainly manage the biosecurity. We’d certainly be a very willing substitute,” Tony Shepherd, the SCG Trust chairman, told the Sydney Morning Herald. “We’d be interested in helping cricket in any way we could.”
