Virat Kohli: The former Indian captain has a large fan base that is present both inside and outside of the country, and it includes not only regular fans but also several well-known cricketers. Mehidy Hasan Miraz praised Virat Kohli as “one of the greatest cricketers” on Sunday, December 25, following India’s 2-0 Test series victory over Bangladesh.

Mehidy, an all-rounder for Bangladesh, shared a photo with Kohli and the epic message after the 34-year-old gave him a signed replica of his jersey. Despite having taken five wickets in the second innings of the match against India, Hasan’s team was unable to prevail.
The Bangladeshi all-rounder, who had received the Player of the Series title for the ODI series, shared a photo of himself receiving the signed jersey from Virat Kohli on Facebook while reserving the highest respect for the Indian batter.
Sharing the picture, Mehidy wrote “Special souvenir from one of the greatest cricketer(sic) Virat Kohli.”
Taskin Ahmed too shared the photo
Mehidy wasn’t the only player to post a photo of themselves with Kohli; previously, Taskin Ahmed also posted a photo of himself with the “legend” while the two teams were flying from Chattogram to Dhaka.
While playing in the Test series, Kohli failed to score runs and also missed four catches on the third Day of the final Test.
However, he will be hoping to replicate his performance against Sri Lanka when Dasun Shanka and company arrive to tour the subcontinent for a white ball series, beginning on 3 January.
