Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, is well-known for his lavish lifestyle. He has a fondness for expensive houses and cars. Recent reports suggest that Kohli has purchased a new villa in Alibaug, Mumbai for 6 crore rupees. This new property adds to his already impressive collection of two villas in Mumbai, one of which he had previously purchased in Omkar Towers.
A Fondness for Expensive Houses and Cars
Advocate Mahesh Mhatre shared his thoughts on Kohli’s new villa with the media, saying that Awas, where the villa is located, is a popular place due to its natural beauty. The Mandwa jetty, which is just five minutes away from Awas, has made it even more accessible, with speed boats now reducing the travel time to Mumbai to just 15 minutes. As Kohli was busy with the Border-Gavaskar game against Australia, his brother Vikas Kohli completed the registration formalities at the Alibaug sub-registrar’s office. Kohli paid ₹36 lakh as stamp duty for the transaction and will also get a 400 square feet swimming pool as part of the deal.
Kohli’s Performance in the Border-Gavaskar Game Against Australia
Kohli is currently occupied with the Border-Gavaskar game against Australia, which is why his brother completed the formalities for the new villa. The Indian cricket team has played two Test matches against Australia so far, and the third match will be played at the Indore ground from March 1. In this series, Kohli has not been able to play any big innings yet, despite his reputation as a veteran batsman. In the second Test match at Delhi ground, he scored 44 runs in the first innings and 20 runs in the second innings.
