Virat Kohli Birthday: An Unusual Record
The record that Anushka posted was that Kohli is the only player to take a wicket on the 0th ball of the T20i career. Back in 2011, India was playing against England in a T20 international match and Kohli was asked to bowl by MS Dhoni.
As Kevin Pietersen was on strike, Kohli bowled a wide on which MS Dhoni stumped the English international. Making Kohli the first and only cricketer to take a wicket on the ‘zeroth’ ball of his career.
