Virat Kohli: Indian cricketing superstar Virat Kohli recently shared some interesting insights into his eating habits, revealing his favourite foods, the most unusual dish he’s ever eaten, and even one food he vows never to eat again.
Virat Kohli speaks on food choices
Kohli opened up about his culinary preferences in a video posted to social media, in which he answers a range of questions about his food choices. When asked about the weirdest thing he’s ever eaten, Kohli recalled a dish he had in Malaysia that contained some sort of insect that he found particularly distasteful.
The cricket captain also shared that, as a vegetarian, he would never eat bitter gourd (known as Karela) again. On a more positive note, Kohli also discussed his favourite cheat meal, which happens to be the popular Indian dish of chole bhature.

Virat Kohli etching new records
Virat Kohli added yet another feather in his cap on Sunday by becoming the fastest batter in the world to score 25,000 runs across formats during the second Test against Australia, which India won by six wickets.
Kohli achieved this milestone by flicking Nathan Lyon for a boundary in the 12th over of the second innings, reaching 8 runs and becoming the sixth player ever to achieve this feat. With 52 runs needed to reach this milestone, Kohli made 44 runs in India’s first innings and finished at 25012 runs after being out for 20 in the second innings.

Kohli achieved the feat in just 549 innings, the fastest among the six players who have achieved this milestone, with a 53-plus average, the highest among the members of the elite club. Kohli’s runs tally includes 8195 runs from 106 Tests, 12809 from 271 ODIs, and 4008 from 115 T20Is.
