Virat Kohli: Four countries have already completed their group round matches before the 2022 T20 World Cup officially began on Sunday, but the teams competing in the Super 12 stage of the tournament still had a week to prepare.
With their victory over Australia on Monday (October 17) in a pre-tournament match at the Gabba in Brisbane, Team India ‘officially’ kicked off their preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. In a recent T20I series between the two sides, played in India, the home team prevailed 2-1.
Prior to the exhibition game, Kohli was spotted having fun with KL Rahul, Arshdeep Singh, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He demonstrated some silly dancing movements that had his teammates in giggles. Watch Video:
It’s encouraging for Indian cricket fans that the lively Kohli demonstrated some dancing routines and appeared to be having a great time.
On October 23, India will face Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the opening match of the 2022 T20 World Cup. With two qualifiers, India’s group would also include Bangladesh and South Africa.
