The world Cup winning Indian team was welcomed by the fans and BCCI in Mumbai. After a Victory Parade, the team went to Wankhede Stadium where the players enjoyed a lot with each other. Indian team players including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya spoke about their experience and also praised their teammates. Jasprit Bumrah played a big role in India’s victory in this World Cup and Virat praised him at the Wankhede Stadium.
Virat Kohli Praises Jasprit Bumrah
Indian batsman Virat showered Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah with praises while talking about his world cup experience. The famous Indian batter said about Bumrah, “Jasprit Bumrah is a once in a generation bowler, he brought us in the game time and again.”
He also said about Bumrah, “Like everyone in the stadium here, we also felt at one point if it is going to slip away again, but what happened in those last five overs was truly, truly special. You know what I’d like everyone to do is applaud a guy who brought us back into games again and again and again in this tournament. What he did in those last five overs, bowling two out of the last five overs, it was phenomenal. A huge round of applause for Jasprit Bumrah, please. We are lucky that he plays for us.”

Indian team won the World Cup after defeating South Africa by 7 runs. They brought the World Cup home with the help of Virat Kohli’s 72 run and Hardik, Arshdeep, Jasprit Bumrah’s performance.
