Friends funnily greet Virat after his first interview

For more than a decade, the right-handed hitter has been a steady member of the Indian cricket squad across all forms. Though, he saw a dip in form for a brief time but his comeback has been even stronger. Since last year’s break, he has smashed four centuries across the limited overs and is currently looking on to hit another in the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar trophy.

Meanwhile, a video of a young Virat Kohli with his friends following an interview has been making the rounds on social media recently. A young Virat Kohli can be seen joking with his mates in an old video clip. As per the information, this video follows the scenes after the then-newbie Virat Kohli gave an interview for the first time and how his friends were delighted to see this.

In the video, Virat Kohli’s friend can be heard saying, “Bada aadmi ban gaya bhai yaar apna” (He has become a big star now). A few seconds later, he again said, “Dil Jeet Liya Bhai” (You have won our heart brother). The bond between the ace batsman and his friends shows how true friendships can be.

Though, he couldn’t score much runs in the first match, he would look to continue his blistering run as he scored two centuries in the recently concluded series against Sri Lanka. He now holds the record of 46 ODI centuries to his name, and is just three centuries short to become the joint-leading with Sachin Tendulkar.
