However, in the second innings, Kohli broke the record of 25,000 international runs and became the fastest player to achieve this milestone, as well as the second Indian to do so. Kohli’s incredible achievement was a testament to his skill and consistency as a batsman. The incident with Gill during practice also highlighted the team’s camaraderie and spirit, which were key factors in the victory.
Before the start of the third day’s play, a video of a humorous exchange between Kohli and Shubman Gill went viral. In the video, Kohli unexpectedly hit Gill during a practice session, and everyone burst out laughing. In the second innings of the Test match, Australia got off to a decent start, taking a lead of 62 runs for the loss of just one wicket. However, the Indian spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin delivered heroic spells, eventually bundling out the Australians for 113 runs. India then won the match with an easy run chase.
