Virat Kohli: Based on a graph posted by an investment officer, UPI transactions dramatically decreased since online shopping was all but halted for a while on Sunday as viewers were hooked to their televisions to watch Virat Kohli’s fiery innings against Pakistan in a T20 World Cup cricket match.
The graph, which showed online transactions over the course of the day, shows that during India’s batting, when Virat Kohli was at his best, online purchases stopped, and that they drastically decreased from 5 to 6 pm.

Mihir Vora, the chief investment officer of Max Life, posted the graph on Twitter. It depicts a significant Diwali shopping rush from 9 am until 1:30 pm, which is when the game started.
Online activity was reduced once the game began and continued to do so while Pakistan was batting. However, once India’s batting began, it began to decline even more. After 5 o’clock, the number fell momentarily. Shopping then continued when the game was ended.
