Virat Kohli: Former Indian captain Virat Kohli posted an aggressive post regarding the invasion of his privacy at the Indian team hotel on Monday, hours after India’s demoralising loss to South Africa in the Super 12 stage of the ICC World T20 2022. As one of the most well-known figures in cricket, batting legend Kohli has a huge fan base.
The most popular cricketer on social media shared a sickening incident from the current T20 World Cup in Australia on Instagram on Monday. According to Kohli, his privacy was breached in an Australian hotel room. The 33-year-old released a clip of a stranger touring his hotel room for 30 seconds.

“I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy,” Kohli wrote.
Continuing further, he wrote “If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment.”
David Warner, the opening batsman for Australia, raised concerns about the opulent hotel’s security protocols after learning of Kohli’s post. “This is ridiculous, totally unacceptable. Was this @crownperth,” Warner questioned. Anushka Sharma, Kohli’s wife, also commented on the incident by putting out a story on Instagram.
“Have experienced a few incidents where some fans have shown no compassion or grace in the past but this really is the worst thing. An absolute disgrace and violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and thinks celebrity ho toh deal Karna padega should know that you are also part of the problem. Exercising some self control helps everyone. Also, if this is happening in your bedroom then where is the line?,” Anushka wrote.
