Virendra Sehwag: After Pakistan’s defeat in the T20 World Cup match against India on Sunday at Melbourne Cricket Ground, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag made a playful jab at the neighbouring nation.
As India defeated their bitter opponents by four wickets to begin their campaign as Arshdeep Singh and Virat Kohli showed remarkable performances. Following Pakistan’s defeat in the thrilling final over, Sehwag shared a video of a man, who appeared to be a fan, smashing the TV.
“Relax Padosiyon , it’s only a game. You tried really well. Hamaare yahan Deepawali hai toh pataakhe phod rahe hain aur aap bevajah TV phod rahe hain. Nahin yaar, TV ka kya kasoor,” Virendra Sehwag said.
Coming to the game, India defeated Pakistan by four wickets with former skipper Virat Kohli scoring 82 off 53 balls. Arshdeep Singh, the world cup debutant also outshone others with remarkable bowling, as he dismissed both the openers within the powerplay.
