Vitality T20 Blast: What a night it was for all the fans who watched the match. Middlesex vs Surrey was one of the best T20 matches you will ever see. It was raining run throughout the match, and the bowlers were completely useless for this night.
Middlesex lost 14 straight matches before they came onto this one. And once Surrey put 252 on the scoreboard, the stage was all set for their 15th loss. They put on a batting clinic to register the highest run chase in T20 blast history and their first win of the season.
Will Jacks Efforts in Vain
While batting first, Surrey put on a mammoth total of 252 runs. Will Jacks was the main orchestrator of the inning, as he hit 95 runs in just 45 deliveries. He hit 8 boundaries and 7 sixes in his fiery innings.
The main target of his onslaught was Luke Hollman, who he hit for five sixes in just one over. Laurie Evans was also amazing and scored 85 runs in just 37 deliveries. Other than these two, no batsmen were able to get past the score of 20.

A Brilliant Runchase
Middlesex needed something miraculous to complete the chase, and Stephen Eskinazi became exactly that only. His 73 runs inning in just 39 deliveries gave Middlesex the start they desperately needed. And after that, everyone followed.
Max Holden remained not out on 68 in just 35 deliveries, Joe Cracknell scored a quickfire inning of 36 in just 16 deliveries, and Ryan Higgins 48 in just 24 deliveries made sure that Middlesex reached the target with 4 deliveries to spare and register the highest run chase in Vitality Blast T20 history.
