It was a night that no one will forget, especially the one watching the match live. No one expected her to win, moreover, no one expected her to reach this far. But she did it and proved to everyone just how good she is.

History Made At Wimbledon 2023
When Ons Jabeur was in the lead in the first set, no one expected a comeback on the card. But it happened, a miracle happened and everyone was speechless. Vondroušová won 16 out of the last 18 points and won four straight games to win the first set.
The second set was all her and she never let the Tunisian star out of her reach. Ons Jabeur lost the finals of Wimbledon last year as well and this time also she felt a little bit short. But nonetheless, we saw a match that was worthy of a final.

The Czechia star was not able to gather her thoughts completely after the win. “I don’t know what is happening, it is an amazing feeling. After everything I have been through it is amazing I can stand here and hold this. Tennis is crazy!”
On the other hand, Jabeur stated this to be her most painful defeat ever. She had tears in her eyes and stated that she will need time to adjust. But she will be back again next year competing for the Wimbledon title and will be stronger than ever.
