Women’s Asia Cup 2022: After winning the toss, and opting to bat first, team India has put a total of 159/4 on board. For India, highest run-scorer was Shafali Verma, who managed to scored 55 off balls. Following her was skipper Smriti Mandhana who scored 47 off 38 balls. Though, India had a good start as they scored 91 runs in 10 overs but quick wicket succession ensured an average score.
For Bangladesh, Rumana Ahmed’s speel was pivoital as she gave just 27 runs but picked 3 wickets in 3 overs. Apart from her, Sanjida Akter bowled an economical spell of 20 runs from four overs. Salma Khatun, too, picked a wicket in her three over spell while shelling just 16 runs.
