World Athletics Championship 2023: Indian star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra is eyeing yet another historic moment. He qualified for the finals of World Athletics Championship 2023 and Olympics 2024 in his first attempt.
In the process, he also broke his own record and came even closer to that 90-meter mark. On Sunday, he has the chance to win India’s first gold medal in the history of this championship.
It was a marvelous performance by Neeraj as it only took him one throw whereas no other competitor came close to his throw. India has only won two medals in the Athletics Championship and one of them is by Neeraj only.

World Athletics Championship 2023 Finals Details
The Men’s Javelin Throw Final will be played on Sunday, August 27 in Budapest, Hungary. The final will begin at 11:45 PM IST and it will be broadcast live on Sports18 Network in India.
