World Cup 2023: A 16-person roster for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier, which gets underway on June 18, has been announced by the Cricket Association of Nepal’s selection committee. This competition will take place in Zimbabwe, the host nation. In his first major competition, Rohit Poudel will serve as team captain. Nepal has only lost one of their previous 18 games, and they have qualified for both the Asia Cup and the ICC World Cup qualifications.
Ten Teams Battle for World Cup Qualification in Group A and Group B
Ten teams will compete in the qualifiers; West Indies, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands, Nepal, and the United States are in Group A. While teams from Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman, and the UAE are in Group B. For the final two spots in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India, all of these teams will compete. With the type of cricket Nepal’s team has recently displayed, they have a real chance to turn things around and earn a spot in the World Cup, which will be place in India in October-November.

India Prepares to Host ICC ODI World Cup 2023, Teams Gear Up for Final Qualification Round
India will host the ICC ODI World Cup in the months of October and November 2023. India, the host nation, has a direct entry into the World Cup. Teams from Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, England, Australia, Afghanistan, and South Africa have also qualified for the World Cup 2023 at the same time. Only two more teams need to qualify. In such a case, the World Cup qualifying round will feature 10 teams on June 18. Two of these groups will earn spots in the 2023 ODI World Cup. These are the names of the players; Kushal Bhurtail, Asif Sheikh (wk), Gyanendra Malla, Rohit Poudel (c), Kushal Malla, Arif Sheikh, Deepender Singh Airey, Gulsan Jha, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane, Bhim Sarki, Lalit Rajvanshi, Pratish JC, Arjun Saud (wicketkeeper), Kishore Mahto.
