WWE: While fans were rejoicing the news that John Cena would wrestle live in India for the first time, bad news hit them. Many fans were curious about how to watch WWE Superstar Spectacle on broadcasting.
According to PW Insider, the upcoming event in India is termed a live event by WWE rather than a television show. Which might mean that the show might not be streamed live on the television.
On the other hand, in reports by PW Torch there might be a possibility that Edge might join AEW and the insiders at WWE are aware of that fact. If this happens, it might be the biggest swerve in wrestling history.
WWE Superstar Spectacle Is A Live Event
Mike Johnson from PW Insider has reported that WWE has no plans of streaming the event. There were rumors and hopes that the event would be streamed live on Peacock and on SonyLiv in India.
But with the company treating this show like a live event, the streaming option is out of the question. The event is not scheduled to be made available to stream. Neither WWE Network nor any other OTT platform streaming is out of the question.
It will be a huge setback for every fan as everyone is waiting desperately to see their favorite stars in India. Fans who failed to make it to Hyderabad would have liked to catch the event on TV.
Edge Joining AEW?
A report has come out by PW Torch stating that Edge wanted a new WWE contract. But the company “declined to meet his request.” The report further added that Edge and Tony Khan already have an informal offer agreed.
Edge was offered an AEW contract before his comeback in 2020 and was seriously considering the option. But in the end, he chose WWE again and made his comeback at Royal Rumble 2020.
